Benefits to healthcare facilities of using Aetna Ambulance Service, Inc.:
We're a local company: Aetna Ambulance has been in operation continuously since 1945 and is based on Van Block Avenue in Hartford. Our service and financial priorities are local and our interest is in taking care of our neighbors. We don't operate a 1-800 number because when you call us, you're calling a local business.
We're on time: Aetna and our sister company, Ambulance Service of Manchester, LLC (ASM) have worked tirelessly to have an on-time performance rating well above the industry standard for non-emergency ambulance transfers. We understand that immediately after courteous and professional service, you require us to arrive on time. It is important to you, your patient, and the staff at the destination.
We're consistent and reliable: Not only do we do it right, but we do it right over and over again. Aetna is not driven by a large corporate machine. Our priority is not profit margin. Our number one goals are building our ability to serve and our reputation as a provider of timely, excellent care. In order to meet these goals, we want the patient, client and community to have the same exceptional, compassionate experience every time they call on us.
All of the above combine to show that Aetna Ambulance Service, Inc. is "dedicated to providing consistent, timely and clinically excellent service to our patients, clients and communities."
